We're inviting you!
WE’RE OPENING UP OUR ANNUAL CATTLE ROUNDUP (TYPICALLY A PRIVATE FAMILY EVENT) TO THE PUBLIC FOR A FREE RANGE WEEKEND FULL OF FUN, GREAT FOOD BY OUR FAVORITE CHEFS AND THE BEST ENTERTAINMENT!
Roundups are a moment in time for a ranch to take stock, draw close to their community and live up to the echo of past generations of ranchers by carrying tradition with us into the future.
Our annual roundup holds special significance to the Howley family. It is not just a highlight of our founder, Chuck Howley's amazing accomplishments, but a relighting and passing of the torch from the old generation to the next, that will now stand watch over Happy Hollow Ranch.
The annual cattle roundup is a tradition to pay homage to the old cowboy way and carry a little of the past forward with us into the future. It is one of the most important times of the year for many ranchers to take a true accounting of their herds and gather data to see where we need to make improvement. Our roundup is also a time to build bonds with family, neighbor, and the occasional friendly strangers.
We can't wait to meet y'all and make new friends through this year's event!
TWO DAY EVENT
Hosted by Happy Hollow Ranch
Our event begins Friday, March 18th through Saturday, March 19th with a day of hearty chargrilled goodness cooked up from one of our favorite guest chefs, swag from some of our favorite partners—and of course, getting a front row seat to cheer on our cowboys and crew as they get down to the business of ropin' and wranglin' in standard roundup fashion!
We'll also be joined by some of our favorite cowboys and cowgirls, social media influencers, AND of course, our friends from Heroes and Horses!
come together for a cause
The Current System is Failing our Veterans. It's time for a new approach.
Let's pay it forward! Come on out and support our veterans! A portion of event proceeds will go towards the Heroes and Horses program and we are thrilled to have them attending our event to bring awareness to the cause.
Heroes and Horses mission is to offer combat veterans an alternative solution for defining and approaching their physical and mental scars—a solution that does not include prescription medications, or traditional psychotherapy, but rather the opportunity to use tools to redefine their purpose, rediscover their inner strength, and maximize their potential by taking ownership of their lives for the first time since leaving service.
The Heroes and Horses program exists to redefine the relationship between challenge and purpose, by reintegrating combat veterans through an innovative, comprehensive and effective process that uses the wilderness, the horse/human connection, and a proven leadership model.
ROUNDUP FINALE | entertainment you wont want to miss!
Stay tuned! We've lined up the very best in entertainment as the main event to closeout our roundup!
